Richard L. Angelo,
MD is a board-certified, fellowship-trained
orthopedic surgeon specializing in:
arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee
total joint replacement
joint reconstructive surgery
Dr. Angelo received his medical degree from the University
of Washington Medical School in Seattle and performed his orthopedic surgery
residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He then completed
advanced post-graduate training as a Clinical Research Fellow in Arthroscopy
and Sports Medicine at The Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia
and a Clinical Research Shoulder Fellow at the University of Western Ontario
in Canada. Widely regarded as an expert in arthroscopic surgery, Dr. Angelo is frequently called upon to lecture, deliver presentations,
and provide lab instruction to his peers in the United States and abroad.
He has been in private practice in Washington for more than 17 years and
is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at
the University of Washington. Dr. Angelo practices out of the Kirkland
