James D. Swenson, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in:

After earning his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, Dr. Swenson spent 2 years as an emergency room physician and flight surgeon at Landstuhl Army Regional Medical Center in Landstuhl, Germany. During this time, he was deployed to the Persian Gulf where he served as a General Medical Officer with the Third Armored Division in Operation Desert Storm, and he currently serves in the US Army Reserves.

Following his service in Germany, Dr. Swenson completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Fort Lewis, Washington. He served as a staff orthopedic surgeon at Darnall Army Community Hospital in Fort Hood, Texas, before joining Evergreen Orthopedic Center.

Dr. Swenson is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He practices out of the Monroe Clinic.
